Jenny Hannam is a contemporary artist based in Gloucestershire and Cornwall, whose work explores the intersection of natural forms and environmental psychology. Her practice is uniquely informed by a distinguished previous career as a Royal Air Force medic and a corporate executive specialising in large-scale negotiations and supply chain infrastructure.

This background in psychological measurement and behavioural observation provides Hannam with a rare, methodical lens through which she approaches the canvas. Her work navigates the dynamic boundary between technical precision and atmospheric abstraction, rooted in a deep, 40-year connection to the Cotswold landscape.

On a personal level, Jenny has been happily married since 1983 and is a devoted mother and grandmother. This grounding family life reinforces her artistic philosophy that the integrity of our natural world is the essential crucible for the survival and happiness of all our futures.

Hannam’s current body of work, Silent Neighbours, highlights the critical impact of habitat fragmentation on British wildlife. By combining extensive conservation research with the expressive techniques honed during her time in the Porthmeor Programme at the St Ives School of Painting, she positions her work as a timely dialogue on ecological survival. Her pieces are held in private collections and represent a sophisticated fusion of analytical discipline and artistic intuition.
